Way Sine's intelligent transit solutions at the University of Minnesota, now providing real-time information directly to students and faculty, not only at bus stops and shelters but also on the buses themselves!

This exciting project is a testament to the University's commitment to enhancing the rider experience. In a close partnership with Peak Transit and Complete Coach Works, we have outfitted an expanded fleet of buses with our advanced Automatic Voice Announcement System (AVAS). This integrated solution will deliver crucial, real-time transit information in both clear visual displays and comprehensive audio announcements, making travel easier and more accessible for everyone on campus.

This expansion is built upon a successful foundation where Way Sine initially deployed its robust, solar-powered, real-time information signage at key bus stops and shelters across the campus in 2017. Following that initial rollout, the demand for timely and accurate transit information among the University community has grown substantially.

In response to this growing need and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from riders, the University has strategically expanded its implementation of real-time information signage. By integrating our AVAS solution directly onto the bus fleet, Way Sine is helping the University of Minnesota create a truly seamless and connected transit experience. Riders will now benefit from up-to-the-minute updates on routes, stops, and schedules, reducing uncertainty and improving travel efficiency.
