After an initial trial of E-paper bus stop real-time signage options from a number of vendors Santa Clarita Transit chose Way Sine as the preferred vendor when it came time for an expanded deployment.

The agency's decision on the Way Sine13” E-paper sign featuring E-Paper 16 grey (4bit) Monochrome displays came down to key differentiators.
Modular design, with solar panels, rechargeable batteries, antenna, and audio announcers stored high and away from the public, improving efficiency, and limiting potential vandalism.
Signs designed and manufactured in the United States that are fully “Buy America” compliant, including a 5 year warranty, and utilizing recycled aluminum.
Clear and easy to read text, day and night
Seamless integration with existing CAD/AVL systems, and the option to utilize GTFS feeds independent of the CAD/AVL.
User-friendly content management system (CMS) allowing the agency to manage and update information quickly and easily.
Way Sine's proven track record, and history of technology and communications expertise.
Many riders prefer not to have to rely on their phone or an app to know when the bus is coming. We are very happy to be able to work with Santa Clarita transit to be able to provide this option to their riders.
